The Name I Wanted Was Taken I try to be funny

I was just watching Toy Story 3 again, and there’s a moment near the end, after I finished weeping uncontrollably for the first time, when the toys get back to Andy’s room, that caught me off guard this time around.

When Mrs. Potato Head goes to find her missing eye, she is standing right in front of it, and looks through. She sees herself from behind and just goes and grabs it. Any lesser studio would have made a dumb joke about “Oh my god! That’s how I look from behind?!”

But not Pixar. She just grabs the eye and moves on.

It’s little things like that which show how bad Cars 2 was, which is so saddening for me.

Just wanted to share that.
